Simple Design Tips Everyone Can Use
There are a few key design concepts that can make even the simplest of documents more effective. The goal of graphic design is to communicate information effectively – not just make it a page look better.
The next time you have to create a sales sheet, report, or presentation – try these tips:
- Vary the size of the elements.
- “Empty” space is important.
- Use no more than two different fonts.

If you are in the Philly area, you might want to check out the new exhibit at the Franklin Institute - Cleopatra: The Search for the Last Queen of Egypt. On display are never-before-seen artifacts from the search for her tomb.
