Kalalau Trail, north shore of Kauai

Located on the beautiful north shore of Kauai, the Kalalau Trail is a 11 mile trail that leads from Ke'e Beach to Kalalau Beach.

The trail crosses above towering sea cliffs and through lush valleys before dropping to sea level at the beaches of Hanakapi'ai and Kalalau. Overnight camping is at Kalalau Beach.

Climb Half Dome, Yosemite National Park

17 miles roundtrip. Elevation gain 4800 feet. The summit is at 8,842 feet and is reached by climbing cables bolted into the rock face for the last 400 feet.

Located in Yosemite National Park,  Half Dome is on most avid hikers life-lists and is an exciting and challenging hike.

Edinburgh and the Scottish Highlands
